Like many people attracted to the industry I became an acupuncturist after experiencing amazing results with Chinese Medicine during my own health journey.
Since then my career has taken me into many different areas including Head of Faculty teaching at the New Zealand College of Massage in Christchurch.
As a health science teacher I am well grounded in a science based approach. However although research has made huge leaps to help our understanding of the human body, it still does not have all the answers to understand health & illness.
My treatment style reflects this by balancing an evidence based model of practice while encompassing the holistic nature that is Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Teaching Background:
Teaching has been a big part of my work history and I have continued to maintain teaching roles along side my practice.

From this experience I have noticed that New Zealand practitioners often lack access to local & affordable, Professional Development workshops, and as practical people practitioners are not always drawn to learn online.
With this in mind I am keen to develop not only my own courses but also offer mentoring and coaching to others to support the great local talent we have in New Zealand, and collectively share the knowledge we have for the benefit of our patients.
